Set Dancing Weekend - 25th - 27th Nov 2011

A great time was had by all.

Thanks to our MC Joan Pollard Carew,

dance tutors: Timmy Woulfe and Triona Mangan,

the bands: Striolan, The Abbey & The Deenagh Ceili Bands and

most importantly a huge thank you to all

the guests who travelled from far and near to attend the event.

Next year promises to be even bigger and better,

so mark this date in your diary and we'll hopefully see you there:

I.N.D.O. Darts Tournaments

INDO Darts Tournaments

took place in Darby's on 22nd & 23rd Oct 2011

This was the 1st time Darby O' Gill's Hotel has hosted a National darts competition and we hope to make it an annual event.

Local man: Jamie Kelliher who is a regular darts player in Darby's,

won the men's singles competition

and now goes through to the 'World Masters 2012'!

Dublin VS Kerry - 18th Sept 2011

Darby was delighted that Dublin were triumphant last Sun 18th Sept

when they beat the Kerry champs to win the all Ireland.

It was an exciting game.

I'm sure Kerry will be back next year to bring 'Sam' home!
