Motor Neurone Fun Day - Sun 26th June

A Charity walk & Family Fun Day were held at Darby O' Gill's Hotel

in aid of

The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Assn.

A big thank you to all those who helped to organise the event and thanks to those who attended.

The Camel Race Night & Family Fun Day raised an amazing 50,000 Euros!!

Wow, amazing generosity!

Scannell Cup Darts Final 2011 - Winners

Young gun Paraic O' Mahony won the Plate Final,

against seasoned campaigner Dermot Kelliher.

Paraic O' Mahony is a member of

Darby O' Gill's Darts Team

so there was a great celebration by all team members.

The badger (Pat Gill) often says he taught

Paraic all he knows about darts. ...Ha!

Seasoned campaigner Matt Lacey, 5 times a finalist (last 3 in a row) finally won his 2nd Scannell Cup defeating 1st time finalist Neil O' Donoghue in an exciting finals series.

Camel Race Night Success!

Thank you to all the people who came to the camel race night last Sat 11th June.

We had a great laugh and raised €2500 for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.
